A Georgian gem in the heart of Henley-on-Thames, the Kenton was founded in 1805, making it the fourth-oldest working theatre in the country. The auditorium seats 185 in the stalls and 55 in the circle. The foyer includes a bar, box office and coffee bar, while the backstage area includes generously-sized dressing rooms and an outside area. Staging, sound and lighting systems can be provided in-house or sourced locally to satisfy all needs and budgets. With its close proximity to London and Oxford and rail links to Paddington from 45 minutes, this is an ideally located venue, with that classic theatre feel.
