StageWorks Performing Arts presents Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows, by arrangement with Samuel French Limited.
Alan Bennett’s superb adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s novel with additional lyrics and music by Jeremy Sams is brought to the stage by the students of StageWorks.
Come and share the adventures of gentle, kindly Mole, his great friend Ratty and the irrepressible, loud, rich, jovial and kindhearted Mr Toad.
Tired of the gentle, slow pace of life on the river, Toad longs for a speedy motor car as the very latest thing. This worrying new obsession causes Mole and Rat to seek advice from their wise friend, Badger, who lives in the Wild Wood. Whilst they are in the woods, Mr Toad is arrested for stealing a car and Chief Weasel and his gang of Wild Wooders plot to steal Toad Hall…
Can Mole, Rat, Toad and Badger drive away the intruders and save the day?
