A great lineup of Comedians for September
Described as ‘the best observational comedian of his generation’ (The Guardian), this Edinburgh Award nominee’s last UK tour show After This One, I’m Going Home ended with standing ovations around the country. Seann has starred in Netflix’s Flinch, Live At The Apollo, Tonight at The London Palladium, Celebrity Juice, Play To The Whistle, Virtually Famous, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Chatty Man, Stand Up Central and is a regular guest on The Jonathan Ross Show.
Not just one of the countries funniest stand-up comedians, Seann can be seen acting in Jack Dee’s ITV sitcom Bad Move where he plays audience favourite, Grizzo.
‘He remains one of the most entertaining observational comics on the block’ The Independent
‘Unquestionably the best observational comic of his generation’ The Guardian
Amy Matthews (MC)
One of the fastest rising stand up comedians in the UK, with her first year in comedy seeing a television appearance and a compering residency, Essex born Amy Matthews blends observational routines with offbeat whimsy, resigning to the absurdity of modern life.
‘Incredible wit and writing; a punch-in-the-air essential new voice in stand up’ – Monkey Barrel Comedy
‘Blimey, she’s got good quick… extremely accomplished’ – Fringe Monkey (EdFringe Comedy Award Panelist)
Jake Lambert fell into a career as a stand up after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad, deciding to put down his iPhone and pick up a microphone. It proved to be a great choice, with him promptly placing as a 2015 semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award, Magners New Comedian of the Year, English Comedian of the Year and Leicester Mercury New Act of the Year, and was a finalist in Amused Moose Comedy Awards in 2016.
With two sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and a deluge of fantastic reviews Jake is establishing a name for himself, his combination of one-liners, short stories and strange thoughts has seen him perform on Comedy Central’s Live From The Comedy Store and ITV2’s Stand Up Sketch Show. He has also been incredibly busy doing tour support for his comedy peers including Michael McIntyre, Jack Dee, Seann Walsh, Kerry Godliman, Tom Allen, Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan as well as gigging at comedy clubs, universities and theatres across the UK (all the while still making his ever-increasing Twitter following laugh). Jake also has a hugely popular podcast Guest List with Jake Lambert.
