To celebrate his well-received memoir ‘Hidden Man’, Emmy and BAFTA Award winning composer John Altman, is back with a musical retrospective of his career, featuring his 17-piece big band with popular guest vocalists Rebecca Poole and Iain Mackenzie. In addition to John’s original charts, which have been performed with great success around the world, he has written big band arrangements of some of his major hits including Moondance (which he arranged for Van Morrison), Kissing a Fool (George Michael), Always Look On the Bright Side of Life (Monty Python’s Life of Brian), That Ole Devil Called Love (Alison Moyet), It’s Oh So Quiet (Bjork), Get Happy (Little Voice), Happy Feet (Shall We Dance), James Bond Theme (Goldeneye tank chase and brass arrangements for No Time To Die) and Nearer My God To Thee (ship sinking in Titanic, with the band playing on deck). This will be a spectacular evening of renowned compositions, complete with amusing anecdotes from this music legend!
