A Dickens Double Bill
Presented by Gerald Dickens
On Charles Dickens’ 207th birthday, Gerald Dickens – his Great Great Grandson joins us for a rare and special evening of two short stories.
Mr Dickens Is Coming:
This one man show is inspired by the 1860s readings Dickens gave, and Gerald presents an insight of the great author as seen through the lens of his characters and the people who knew him.
This spine chilling, atmospheric ghost story relives the terrifying memories of a railway disaster. In a deep, damp railway cutting a lonely signalman tells his terrible tale to a complete stranger. This show was once performed by Charles Dickens himself.
There will be a signing after the performance.
Tickets: £14 – no concessions
(includes £1 theatre restoration levy)
